Once again its been awhile since I posted anything new and for that I must apologize. However, last night I stayed up extra late working on the layout for the blog and I think its ready for prime time now. I've been working on a bunch of new projects, many of which I'll be able to share down the road, and some of which have already been added to the site.
This image is from a recent "illustration seminar" project, illustrating an article about the growing volume of debris and general 'space-trash' in orbit around our planet. I took somewhat of a cue from illustrators Steve Wacksman and Luc Latulippe and tried to simplify shapes and reduce some of my heavy line-work. I think this is a direction I'd like to try and take my work, although I admit I have a way to go yet. There's a second image to the article which I'll post in the near future as well as some sketch work and color variations. For now, I'm off to work on another project. Lets hope it isn't too long before I post again!
